2. Professional Member (PM-LAGA)
Who it’s for:
Mid-career professionals, academics, policy professionals, and industry practitioners.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years professional or academic experience
- Evidence of contribution to field (practice, research, leadership, or service)
- Two professional references

- Voting rights in general assemblies

B. Fellowship Grades
3. Fellow of the London Academy for Global Advancement (FeLAGA)
Nature of the Fellowship
Fellowship of the London Academy for Global Advancement is a mark of professional distinction and global recognition, conferred in acknowledgment of exceptional contribution, leadership, and impact. It is not an academic degree, certification, or qualification, and is not awarded based solely on academic credentials, length of service, or years of experience.
The Fellowship recognizes individuals whose work has demonstrably advanced knowledge, leadership, practice, policy, or societal progress within their field or across disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants or nominees must demonstrate exceptional distinction, impactful contribution, and recognized achievement in their field, and:
- Sustained professional, scholarly, policy, or societal contributions
- National, regional, or international impact of their work or leadership
- Demonstrated leadership, innovation, or recognized expertise within their domain
- Clear record of ethical standing, professional integrity, and public trust
Fellowship is awarded on merit and impact, assessed through independent peer evaluation.
Evidence May Include (Non-Exhaustive)
- Influential publications, patents, reports, policy papers, or creative works
- Leadership roles with measurable institutional, organizational, or societal impact
- Awards, honors, or formal professional recognition
- Documented policy influence, innovation outcomes, or social and developmental impact
Privileges of Fellowship
- Entitlement to use the post-nominal designation: FeLAGA
- Eligibility to serve on LAGA advisory boards, review panels, and committees
- Invitation to fellows-only forums, dialogues, and strategic initiatives
- Formal listing in the LAGA Fellows Registry

B. Fellowship Grades
4. Senior Fellow (SFeLAGA) (By Invitation Only)
Eligibility Criteria
Invitee must have international recognized repute and outstanding contribution in their field

C. Fellowship Application & Review Process
The Fellowship of the London Academy for Global Advancement is awarded through a rigorous, transparent, and merit-based evaluation process, ensuring fairness, independence, and institutional integrity.
Application & Review Stages
- Nomination or Self-Application
Candidates may be nominated by peers, institutions, or fellows, or may apply directly through the official LAGA application process. - Submission of Supporting Documentation
Applicants submit a structured dossier demonstrating distinction, impact, leadership, and ethical standing, in line with published Fellowship criteria. - Pre-Screening by the Secretariat
The LAGA Secretariat conducts an initial review to verify eligibility, completeness of documentation, and procedural compliance. - Independent Fellowship Review Panel Assessment
Eligible applications are evaluated by an independent, multidisciplinary Fellowship Review Panel using standardized evaluation criteria. Panel members are required to declare and manage any conflicts of interest. - Recommendation to the Governing Council
Based on the Panel’s assessment, recommendations are submitted to the LAGA Governing Council for final consideration. - Formal Confirmation & Induction
Successful candidates receive formal confirmation of Fellowship and are inducted in accordance with LAGA’s institutional protocols.

3. Fellowship Review Panel – Requirements
A. Composition
The Fellowship Review Panel shall comprise individuals of high professional standing and demonstrated expertise, appointed to ensure balanced, independent, and multidisciplinary evaluation. Panel members must be:
- Senior professionals, scholars, or policy experts with established careers
- Drawn from diverse disciplines, sectors, and geographic regions
- Independent, impartial, and free from actual or perceived conflicts of interest
B. Eligibility Requirements for Panel Members
A Fellowship Review Panel member must demonstrate:
- Recognized standing in their field, evidenced by leadership roles, scholarly or professional publications, awards, or equivalent professional distinction
- Proven experience in evaluation, peer review, governance, or selection processes, including service on editorial boards, review committees, or advisory bodies
- A record of ethical conduct, professional integrity, and sound judgment
C. Responsibilities
Panel members are expected to:
- Review Fellowship applications objectively, rigorously, and in confidence
- Apply LAGA’s published evaluation criteria consistently and fairly
- Declare any actual or potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves where appropriate
- Provide clear, reasoned, and written evaluations to support Panel recommendations
- Uphold the principles of fairness, diversity, inclusivity, and academic/professional integrity
D. Ethical Standards
All Fellowship Review Panel members must:
- Sign a Conflict of Interest Declaration prior to participating in reviews
- Adhere strictly to LAGA’s Confidentiality and Ethics Guidelines
- Maintain full independence from applicants under review and refrain from undue influence or advocacy
